Breaking News | | Sunday, April 28th, 2013: Smith Strokes 5 Hits After the Walla Walla 7-2 victory over Los Angeles and his 5-hit day shortstop Fred Smith told BNN beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game is very good... three or four hits even better... 5 or more are out of sight... and if it is in pro ball... it is really something special. It will get you in the record books."
The 28-year-old player gained that distinction today at Old League Park with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Los Angeles Scorpions.
