Monday, April 15th, 2013: SL2 Presents Player of the Week Trophy
Veteran David Rivard had a great week at the plate for the Springs to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Sub League 2.

The 33-year-old Steamboat left fielder built a .370 average on the strength of 10 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 home run and 6 RBIs.

Gonzalo Valenza is respected by most Mexico City Dirty Sanchez fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors.

Medical officials from the Mississagua Free Agents reported that the club's 22-year-old reliever, Bob Vivier, suffered back spasms in yesterday's matchup against the Jersey City Skeeters while throwing a pitch. Vivier is expected to miss 1-2 weeks of action.
