Monday, April 15th, 2013: Delrosario Week's Best Player
It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Santiago Delrosario, the Caprica Buccaners 19-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors.

He ripped 10 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .455 average with 1 home run and 9 RBIs.

Monday, April 15th, 2013: SL1 Player of the Week Awarded
It was announced today that Buffalo first baseman Arturo Ortiz has been acclaimed by the Sub League 1 as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week.

Ortiz posted a .400 batting average as he collected 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run and 2 RBIs.

Wednesday, April 10th, 2013: Caprica's Molinari Sidelined for Season
The season is apparently over for Leopoldo Molinari. The Caprica Buccaners medical staff informed the club that the center fielder will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn rib cage muscle. Molinari was hurt in the game against Sharon while making a defensive play. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.

In this current campaign Molinari is hitting at a .263 clip with 1 home run and 8 RBIs.
