 | Saturday, June 1st, 2013: Jackson Takes Best Bat Trophy in May Even though he is a newcomer to SDMB Single A, Steven Jackson put up some good numbers in May and brought home the SL2 Batter of the Month trophy. He was one of Springfield's offensive leaders with a .343 average in 29 games. He also racked up 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored. In 54 games this season Jackson has batted at a .329 pace with 57 hits and 5 home runs. |
