 | Monday, June 3rd, 2013: Player of the Week: Tran of the Mammoths It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 1, but last week Vincent Tran of the Marietta Mammoths reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Tran rocked opposing pitching for a .455 average (10-22), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Tran is hitting .310 with 5 home runs. |
