 | Saturday, June 8th, 2013: Gammage Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 21 The Apples lost to Ft. Collins today by the score of 3-0 at Bucs Ballpark, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. Brighton right fielder Darrin Gammage was working on a 21-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-4 against the Titanics as the hot stretch came to an end. Thus far this year Gammage is batting .277 with 6 home runs, 44 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
