 | Saturday, June 15th, 2013: Season Possibly Over for Harold Bergeron Harold Bergeron has to call it a season. The Avon Gold Sox center fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Sharon Beauties and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Bergeron was injured while being hit by a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured skull and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months. For the year Bergeron is batting .290 with 31 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 16 times and driven in 18. |
