| Breaking News | | Monday, September 2nd, 2013: AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced
The AAA Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2013 has been presented and the Sub League 2 winner is Jose Feijoo of Jersey City.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Feijoo. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Skeeters star told reporters.
Feijoo excelled with an impressive 16-3 record in 28 starts. In 186.2 innings he yielded 168 hits and 85 walks, while striking out 115 and compiling a fine 2.80 ERA.

| Wednesday, August 14th, 2013: Taub Whips Beulaville
The Jersey City Skeeters got a great effort from Aaron Taub as the 28-year-old hurler tossed a complete-game 6-0 shutout over the Beulaville Miners. He struck out 6 while allowing 2 hits and walking 0.
This year Taub has made 29 starts, thrown 173.2 innings, fanned 118 batters and walked 61. His won-lost record is 12-12 with a 4.20 ERA.

| Thursday, August 1st, 2013: Sub League 2 Names #1 Pitcher in July
Jose Feijoo has made fans throughout SDMB Triple A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Sub League 2 threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today.
In 5 starts Feijoo compiled a 0.47 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 24 and tossing 38 innings.
In 24 starts this season, Feijoo has recorded 13 wins and absorbed 3 losses. He has pitched 159.2 innings, allowed 136 hits, struck out 92 and has a 2.20 ERA.
