 | Friday, May 2nd, 2014: Koepp Hospitalized with Illness
Cleveland team doctors ordered ailing starting pitcher Anthony Koepp to take some time off and deal with his nagging illness. He has been suffering several days with the flu and might not be available to play for about 2 weeks.
In 2014 Koepp has compiled a 3-0 mark with a 1.27 ERA in 5 starts. In pitching 35.1 innings he has 22 strikeouts and 8 walks while limiting the opposition to a .192 batting average. |

Ronald Aikin really did a number on the Steamers in the Los Angeles 4-3 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Ronald Aikin did just that today for the Scorpions and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 30-year-old first baseman said after his record-setting performance.
R. Aikin singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This season Aikin has hit at a .329 clip with 16 RBIs, 3 home runs and 10 runs scored.
